Dave and I had a ball at the national gathering. We finally got into the cats when we got off of Kentucky Lake and fished the Cumberland below Barkley. Dave and I ended up with a total of six cats. Three blues and three channels. Here is pictures of the two best ones, sorry about the poor quality, but the cheap camera and the dark didn't help. Hey Vern,
How far down were you on the river we were almost 8 miles down along a riprap high bank where we caught all our fish at, we had a blast just decided to stay and fish because catching that many quality fish comes far and few............Doc

Tim, we were around four miles or so I think. There was a rock ledge there on the left as you were heading down river. A creek mouth and small eddy was just above that. The blues came from the deep water in the channel. The channels were in shallow water along the bank, as was a nice striper I got. Vern

Hey Vern! I was glad to hear that you and Dave had some luck on the Cumberland. It was GREAT to meet you two at the national. I only wish I could have met Kelli also! Please bring her with you the next time. Yeah, those pics are a little dark and shadowy! Makes our vlparrish look like a zombie.....(but wait, almost EVERYBODY was a zombie at national ) Thanks for sharing, bro, we always enjoy hearing about your exploits! :smile2:
