This morning I headed out to the Cumberland River, I was able to take Eric (kaous) out to one of my recent honey holes. The morning was awesome, cool, no windy and the water was calm. After setting up in the same place I recently pulled my 46lb flathead out, the bait clicker went crazy. I gave it a couple hard cranks down and could tell it was a nice fish. After about 10 minutes he showed himself, a 25 lb flattie. We took a few pictures and released him for another day. About 15 minutes later Eric hooked into a very nice fish that took some work to get up. It ended up being a very nice looking 39 lb flathead. It also was photographed and released.
