Anyone else notice the huge baitballs of small threadfins moving in and out of the steamplant? It's got the skipjacks going crazy, plus some largemouth bass, and others. I caught 25 or so skips in a short amount of time on white grubs, and while I was on the river I had a huge bait ball come by my boat while skips jumping a foot or so out of the water after them. Only draw back is the larger shad are hard to come by right now at the steam plant, probley beacuse of the water temps rising on the main river. Anyone else have a area to catch large amount of shad?

This time of the year the best time is after dark in the mouth of the creeks. If they are thick enough you aslo can caught skipjack at the same time. :cool2: :cool2:

Not year round. But right now's a good time to try. I'd go just after sunrise or just before sun set for your best times.
