i saw VERY few fish being pulled out yesterday but there was a boat in the middle of the channel seemed to be getting skips and a few rockfish.. other than that it was just one here and there..

Dude, Cumberland City is like playing Black jack poker.Saterday hooked about 50 skips with gator two and three pounders two at a time. Went monday with steve-o and hooked four between us both all four were minnow size. Good luck and flip a Quarter before you go.

well...it was not a bust. It was pretty chilly. between me Pondwater and another we filled up a cooler little over half way. All had some for the freezer.
whew...I sleep better at night knowing there is bait in the freezer. lol

In the past years when it is this cold for a while there seem to bite like they are never gonna have a chance to eat again. These reports are making wonder where they are. I need to catch a few like everyone else, Thanks for the reports even though they suck

You will prodably do good. When I was there they had both stacks rolling and the fish were in there. They were not hitting fast and furious like Ive seen em do.

i just got back from CC and over a few days was able to load up pretty good but things were slow. They seemed to bite pretty well for awhile in the morning then they were hit or miss the rest of the day. I would suggest having sabikis and jigs in a few different colors.

Can you fish for skips from a boat at CC or is it bank fishing only?

You can get in there into the mouth a little bit with a boat, not all the way in though but the boat guys do pretty good and can find them on sonar. When they are in there HOT though the bank is easy pickin's.
