Next time someone goes let me know. I want to learn how to catch them.

That is if you don't mind someone tagging along.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Hope they are still there when I get around to getting over there.

Having to work stinks now that it gets dark so early.

Best Blue Catfish Bait ever created.

    Or so it seems.

They are actually an Alewife, but people perfer skipjack, river herring, blueback herring.

Atleast this is the conclusiong I have come to.

Catfishhunter what was really amazing about that link was they basically are considered endangered in Kansas. Heck now that I think about this past year almost the same could be said for here. In all seriousness it is amazing how we could have an abundance of them here and they have so few unless the extreme cold gets them or something.

I know what ya mean Roger. It seems there were fewer skippys this year than last year. Same goes for the shad...

I went to the steam plant today and got about forty skips, they still aren't running good, But there in there. They were all good sized and I filled up both of the bucket's that I had.
I got there about ten and one of the guy's said they were waring them out early this morning.

I hear they have blocked it off at the bridge and you can't get as close anymore and it's best to fish from the bank ???

It wasn't blocked off today, and there was people fishing on the banks and off the wall.

you can't take a boat any farther than the bridge though I think.
