Ive been off here for awhile since the job has had me working 60-70 hours a week. Im going to Cumberland City Tuesday the 30th. I like to catch skippys and panfish in the barge tie down area. Does anyone know if it access is still prohibited? It was roped off the last time i went. Also anybody that goes Sunday or Monday how about a report. ie Skippys, water color and the overall catch rate.

    Thanks Craig

Went Saturday and the water was muddy. Caught a few skips and 5 blues ranging from 2 to 12 pounds. Fishing was hard. Should be better Tuesday. I would still like to see the water temp drop to the lower 40's. Good luck Tuesday.

It's rough down there after a good rain and they are calling for 2 to 4 inches of rain over the next two days in that area. When I try to fish down there after a big rain, I spend more time on the front of the boat with a paddle shoving trees and trash away from my lines than fishing.
