I was just curious as to what the state creel limits are for other states. Here they are 5 blues, 5 flats, and 10 channelcats per day. Posession limits are double that. I guess I could just look it up, but what fun would that be? There are people here that want to put length restrictions on top of already conservative creels to increase the size of fish for sport fishing. I personally don't think all that is necessary, but if it happens, it happens. Doesn't really affect me either way.

Here in Pennsylvania, there are VERY lax creel limits in place for catfish. The daily limit on catfish is 50 combined species (flatheads/channels, no blues up here). Also, there is no lenght restriction at all.

i don't know about other states, but catfish are also in season all year long, unlike trout, bass, walleye, and every other fish in the state.

No limit here in Georgia, i think they should put some limit on them just to give them some respect, catfish get no respect.

Here in Texas unless it is posted otherwise it is 25 channels and blues 12 inches or longer and 5 flatheads 18 inches or more. Most of the 11 1/2 inchers have my hook marks in their mouth.

No such thing here in Ky. The only time there is a creel limit on cats is when your bowfishing.

In Va Channels and Flats-20 per day no length limits, Blues-20 per day only 1 longer than 32 inches. Tidal waters below fall line-no length or limits.

there is no limit in rend lake in illinois. i see guys come in on a boat from checkin their trotlines with 100+ fish. i sorta wish there was a limit cause the fishin would be a lot better if we didnt have guys pullin out that many fish. its not like they are gonna eat em all.
