Are creek chubs good bait? They are fun to catch in step-over ditch-sized creeks with small hooks and worms or corn. Will I get any cats if I use them for bait?

Yes they are, especially for catfish! I use them as cutbait.
Sometimes I'll take my flyrod and catch 5 or 6 of em' and use them for cutbait in the evenings. Good luck to ya and Tight Lines Brother!:tounge_out:

I use them all the time for flatheads. Usually can catch a lot with a cast net in the deeper holes in small creeks.
