Creek Chub or Bluegill for flathead catfish?

    What's the better bait for Flatheads, both fished live, 5"-6" Creek Chubs or 4"-6" Bluegills ? Or does it matter ? -Thanks

    It depends on the day. I like to have both on hand plus whatever will bite my worm.

    I forgot, I also like BIG chubs in the 12-14 inch range.

    Both are great flathead baits.The chubs however are a more versitle bait I have caught walleye, bass ,carp, and about anything else that swims in the river on them.

    ive never used chubs but i like gills, they last foreeeeevvvvveeeer on the hook
