I was fishing the wabash in the Delphi area tonight for channels using a float and night crawler and we started catching a mess of white crappie around a bridge pilon. I've never seen nor caught a crappie out of the wabash so this was something new to me. The largest one we caught was 9 inches and my buddy lost a really big one. Fun time.

I haven't been keeping any lately, too lazy to clean em'. I did keep a few crappie for some flathead bait though.

Crappie are one of my favorite flathead baits. I have had luck catching crappie in Eagle Creek Reservoir on minnows. Happy fishing!
