crappie running

    Does anyone know if the crappie are in Dragoon yet. With the weather we have had this spring thy might be all mest up. I was going to go to fishersman trail this afternoon. I will let everyone know how I do.

    was at banner today and the 3 of us got 38 crappie in about 2 -2 1/2 hours. we lost about half that many. the clouds came through and a few sprinkles then the bite purdy much shut off. good day though. my first time crappie fishin too.

    Thats a pile of crappie.:big_smile: Dont turn your back on us and become a full time crappie man.:smile2: You should bring some to the gathering, I love crappie.I will even cook it for you.

    i only took a hand full of fillets to eat tonight and the rest is for the fish fry them northern boys have. i aint ate crappie before so i figgered i'd give it a try. you can bet yer @55 i wont become a crappie fisherman. while cleanin em i kept feelin like askin " ... and why are we cleanin bait ??" :smile2:

    Nice mess of crappie JJ...Just remember them guts are some top notch bait this time of yr.Hope you bottled them up.
