    they seem to like choppy water the best, but you can fish anytime, caught some last week in about two feet of water and was having to troll all the time due to the wind, when the wind died, they quit biting.

    i'll fish any weather for crappies in the fall/spring. summer months if i try for some, i'll wait for a front and fish with alittle wind and rain.

    Watch the weather and just before a big front moves in, start fishing. The period just before a front moves in is when the crappie usually really begin to feed.

    The Crappie Water I Fish Is Usually Good From Spring To Fall.i Get The Most Bites When They Settle In The Deep Water.me And My Dad Caught 1500+ One Year In About 15 Feet Of Water.when It Hot Is When We Have The Most Luck.but I'm Just A Beginer At Crappie Fishing.

    I've had my best luck on days when it's sunny and windy and around 65 degrees out.
