Crappie - Biggest Crappie was 1.5 pounds

    I caught 15 crappie out of Tunderbird this afternoon. They were around a bursh pile about 4 foot down. caught them all on minnows. The biggest one was about 1.5 pounds.

    Yeah, they make great bait, but oh, those fried crappie fillets! I need a mess of crappie, too, and not for bait. Good catch......

    Nice mess of fish, goin out Saturday and going to catch some crappie. The bigger ones are starting to be caught here in Indiana. Reps off to ya.

    Thunderbird is just east of Norman.

    I was in a cove just east of the two bridges where Alameda cross over the lake on the little river branch.
