Cracking up laughing

    went to check my local fishing site that i monitor. about fell out of chair when i saw this posted in the catfishing forum.

    i've killed one of these in swimming area at china beach vietnam and we donated it to a orphanage there.

    Ah, hell - if that's an ole' catfish then I've got some ocean front property in Arizona. :haha:

    china beach was a in country R&R center. report was a shark spotted off swimming beach and coming in too close. (this happened 2-3 times while i was over there.) we got orders to fly out and shoot it and drag it up coast to orphanage so meat wouldn't go to waste. this was back in 1970. at that time, people didn't know it was harmless to people.

    when i get back from ca, i will look for my photo album and post picture of one we got. it's one with me looking into the mouth of it just before we cleaned and cut it up for the orphans.

    That would be some cool pics to see. Great job on feeding the orphans. I'm still trippin on people eat whale sharks. It doesn't sound too appealing, but when you are hungry you gotta eat. I guess i have ate worse....... :big_smile:
