Hit the Delaware today with my pal "BUTCHER MIKE". Had a great day. Pounded an old wing dam on 2 tide changes. Fished the usual drop offs and holes. Did a little recon around while waitin for the tide to get rollin and found a real nice saddle. A hole about 25 feet deep and 20 feet wide with a real good rise on both sides. Hence the term saddle. It was productive. Fished with my usual 8/0 octopus circles loaded up with liver and cut eel. thats rite good old liver. LOL! Why you ask the title CRACK HEAD CAT" Mike landed a decent channel and it was not happy in the least bit. The thing was goin nuts in the boat. Mike fightin to get the hook outa its mouth and me laughin. When he gave up and asked me to do it I slung it up on my lap and went to work. The entire process got Mike stuck in the leg and myself with a nice fin gash on my belly includein a big rip in my shirt from its fin. We were howlin it was so funny. A day on the water ya only hope for. LOL! Attached are some pics of our efforts. You pick out the crackhead cat. LOL! Also there is a pic of a spawnin male channel. A fine example of what they look like when they are ready to do the nasty. LOL! ENJOY!
