Well it is april. That means us in Indiana need to thing about crab grass control and feeding the turf. Remember if you use baland then try to plant grass sed the seed will die. Becareful.

I've been fighting to grow grass under a tree in my yard for two years. The dogs wont stay off the area, so I gave up and made a nice rock garden there!!

Yep, I'd love to have a front yard full of crabgrass that won't die!

One thing about crabgrass, it only grows where you don't want it. My house sits in the middle of 300 acres of pasture and crabgrass is probably the best grass for cattle there is, back when we were still milk'n we could get more milk off crabgrass than anything else we grazed, but guess where the only place it really grows well is, my yard. We'd fertilize it, baby it and do everything we can to get it to grow in the pasture and its hit or miss, but the yard and garden stay covered up in it with me fight'n it all the time.
