We are in the process of moving, and will be very close to Cowan Lake (within 5 miles of it)
The Lake is located just southwest of Wilmington, in Southwest Ohio.

Anyone able to share their experiences with this lake?

There are some nice channels in the lake. 10 horse limit on boats. Great crappie lake and lots of small to nice B@ss. ODNR has beeen turning it into a Musky lake for sometime now. Stop by the maraina and look at some of the pictures there. I have not fished it in a couple year but it was allways good to me.

I live just south of Cowan so I fish there allot. It is almost hit or miss with that lake. Changing some things that I do around a little though so hopefully some improvments. I have caught a few really nice cats out of there. Mostly good eating size 3-7 pds I usually try for. My son has caught some nice crappie and I see people fishing for them all the time.
