I've still been steadily catching limits at Corona.I head out almost every Mon. night and sometimes tues.If any brothers would like to come out,I would like the company the more poles the merrier.If any other brothers are fishing Corona,post and let us know how you did.

ive been sidelined for the past week and will most likely be doing at least one "during the week" fishing trip.

im thinkin maybe tuesday, ill hit you up buddy. show me some key spots and methods.

it'd be nice to get a couple local lakes down good. that and i got my "new to me" float tube in the mail today.........scopin out potential spots

I go there on the weekends. last time I went I caught a 8 lb. kitty in the shallows on the south end of the lake. I used a hog wild and catfish charlies sticky shad mix dip bait. I will probably go this weekend as well.

Yeah, its been hott im tellin you these lakes suck most of the time when its hott....however, i never been to corona so i wouldnt know

I went out to corona this past June. Only caught one kitty towards the end of the day. Saw one guy that caught a gang of catfish. He rented a rowboat and mounted his own trolling motor on it so he could manuever into the trees. Really good idea. Thinking of getting one myself for that reason 'cause it cuts down on rental cost and the motor only cost about $100. I have never seen or fished a lake like that one. There are so many trees and vegetation. As far as the eye can see plus some.

yeah. my friend fishes at corona. he caught a 10 lber and was very close to matching up with a guy who had an 11lber. they were both mentioned in the newspaper. He told me he caught a lot of cats that day. I don't know how to get there. Can you give me directions? I live in moreno valley though.

There are two ways for you. From Mo Valley take the 60 west to the 15 south and get off on Indian truck trail. Or you can take the 60 west to the 91west in Riverside and hit the 15 exchange south. The 91 has so much traffic though. Whichever route you take you will have to hot the 15 and get off on Indian Truck. Make a left and You will see a Corona lake sign. Its not too far pass the 91. Proboly 6 or 7 miles pass the 91 and 15 exchange.

It is not to catch fish on pond that are frequently dumped with market fish. I prefer the hard way, the natural way, natural breeding river and lake fishing over Corona any day.
