Cooler water temps

    are the cooler water temps helping on the amount of catches up here in north east ohio for anyone else?, b/c they are still not very active for me. we are thinkin about goin up to lake pymatuning next weekend to see how they are up there...let me know

    I know the fish aren't where they were 3 weeks ago. They've gone a little deeper. You still fishing your summer spots?

    just hit it on the nose!!! they are still in summer spots. but, some are migrating to other areas i usually don't see until mid next month.. rollo

    Once the water temp gets to the low 70 upper 60 degree range they will be moving around alot more. Last week down at marrietta the water was 82 degrees on the ohio and muskingum.

    I agree with s_man. As these temps fall everything starts moving, starting with the plankton. The bait fish will follow as will the cats. It will bring an end to the poor summer bite.
