i was fishing 2 float rigs when all of a sudden one of them went under so i set the hook and i could tell it was a nice one and he started swimming towards my other rig and of course i was alone so i didnt get the other one out of the way and it got tangled in the other one, so i fought him for a while and finally got him close to the bank and i saw it was a nice size flattie and without a net(again another mistake) i reached down to get him and then the line snapped and he slid back down into the water. i was so bummed out! so i picked up my other rod(the one that was tangled) to bring it in and i felt weight on it and i thought i was snagged and i finally brought the mysteriuos weight in and there was a cat about the same size of the one that just got off? so i reached down and got him in and i noticed the hook that had just broke off was on my other line( i had 2 different hooks) so i looked at it close and i noticed that while i was fighting the fish and he was tangled in my other line that that line that was tangled was actually tieing another knot to the hook i was fighting the fish on!! and when the original knot broke the knot that im guessinng the fish tied had held till i got him in!! and thats my story of the only fish to date that i have seen tie a knot and thats the truth if i ever told it

That is great, the catfish can tie on hooks, now if you could teach it to bait hooks and cast you would have a fishin buddy that really KNOWS where the fish hang out...
