We've been working on ths old boat to run in the Great Pee Dee River. Tired of messing up my toon in the river. First day we sanded it down.

Now I welded up a trolling bar and mocked it up on the boat before final install.

Looks really good. I'd like to know more about the enamel you used, etc.

    2 thumbs up!

First off, Welcome to the BOC! The Enamel was by DeVou Products. The welding shop uses it to paint handrails. I'm gonna give it hell this weekend so we'll see how it holds up.

Well the boat ran great in the yard before we left and crap when we got in the inlet. It's not getting fuel. Prob. a easy fix. I beat the paint up pretty good on the dock, trailer straps, etc. and only got a few scratches. I think two coats of paint insted of one would be just fine for a old boat like this one. We ended up fishing about 100yds from the landing and cought 2 nice flounder. Hey we were alrady there so we just well fish. We'll limp back later.
