I take a 6 foot piece of hundred pound test and make a three inch loop tide off at each end with a double loop knot, find the middle and make a six in ch long loop and tie it off once where it meets the main line and once at in the middle. Then you have a loop at one end for your swivel and you can loop a weight at the other end and on the 6 inch loop put your hook. I have found that there is a less knots to fail I had a lot of nice fish lost last year so I messed around and came up with this If I still had my camra I would show you a pic sorry. I like it for all situations, I use it anchored of drifting it suspense the bait which I think makes it easier for the fish to take. And with circle hooks I don't need my weight to slide on the line.

What size bait do you use with that rig. I use pretty big baits so I am wondering if the float would help.
