Recently I sold my motor and control cables. I wrote down the lengths of the cables so that I could get the correct length with the motor I am purchasing but some how managed to loose the information. I seem to remember that the shorter cable was around 12 feet long but can't for the life of me remember what the length was on the longer one. I have read about how to go about measuring for cables but it seems to me that with a jet you need a longer cable than with a prop. Can any one help mwe with this?

you will definatly need longer cables as the one goes down to the bottom of the jet drive, you will probably have to get a set of cables from the dealer of the outboard jet, measure from the control box you have now back to the motor and give those to the shop and they can figure the length from the motor down
