Why don't you guys at least p.m. winners of the contests? I'm not trying to stir up :poop: But I almost let one get away from me a few years ago, because I just missed the post. Especially on contests with no closing date. I was just wondering....

On all the contests I run I send a PM and an email to the winner. The only contest that has a set closing date is the Magic Bait contests. They run for 28 days. We are making changes and Pm's are being sent to the winners.
Great idea Jim. It is hard to keep going back and forth to check for the winner.

Gents,

Funny I even have to type this...

Sponsor's provide products for promotional giveaway's to get eyes on their products or service.

They didn't wake up one morning after a good church session, and just want to give back to the catfishing community.

One way that a sponsor immediately judges if its worth their money to offer products in promotional giveaways, outside of more sales and cash in their pocket, is how many views the thread receives.

The more views received, the more warm and fuzzy they feel, and they hope that in the future, just maybe, you will give them a shot and buy their stuff.

If anybody is confused, shoot me a PM, and we can talk about marketing, and why there is promotional giveaways on the USCA.

Thanks,
Paul

From a marketing standpoint, That makes sense. Thanks for the response, Paul. I was just wondering. I figured it was something like that.
