Congraduation on catching some real nice fish.
Yeah and winning all that money.
BOB at least you door prize number was drawed.:smile2:
Mine was drawn too but I lost my ticket  It was at the end and was only for a spool of mono and some bait. That would have still been cool (not knockin the sponsors at all) just saying it would have really sucked if it would have been for the fishing pole.
Thanks brother! Was a fun and tiring day to say the least. Good talking to you and all the other folks afterwards too. I'm beat and hitting the sack before I fall asleep typing.
This is the pics I got of the big fish of the tourny oh and my youngest daughter and her new best friend (and that pole you mentioned as well)
what a fun day watching it all unfold. Biggest fish I have seenoooh: Congrats everyone on a fine day!!
way to go guys
Congrats on your win and hard effort to achive the goal
So where did they place? Didn't see their names on top at the Cabelas tournament...
I just wanted to say it was very nice for the Big Cat winner to give Laura his ticket. Melissa was holding all the 50/50 tickets and he comes up to Laura and hands her his ticket and said "I've won enough today, here is a winning ticket" I thought that was nice to give your ticket away to a child but when she won the rod with it I was floored! She is excited to have a great pole and wouldn't even let us hold it! LOL
Congrads again to Ryan and Swampy! Always love seeing Gateway members in the money!
So who won the tourney and where did Ryan and Swamp place?
Dodd n Dodd won and Ryan and Swampy came in 5th
Thank you all for the congratulations. We had a great time at this tournament. The day came with a few nutrolls but we got through them and wound up catching a few fish.
That was an amazing turnout at the weigh in. I just wanted to thank Cuz, the boat club and Cabelas for all the work they did to make this tournament a big success. From the looks of things Gateway Cats and Plattin Rock boat club will be hosting this event again next year.
Guy named Jeff Dodd from Tn. won 1st. 172lbs. Second and big fish was Rusty Devore with 168 and big fish of 78. Third was 158. fourth was I believe 153. Punkin and Swamp either got 5th or 6th. I believe it was 6th
Congrats to a great couple of guys....Ol Swampy is the greatest fisherman..
Oh I forgot to add that if anyone wants to know the location and technique that they used give me a call..We watched them catch a couple of those fish and I can tell it all...It is a very exclusive spot that not many will know about. .
Congrats to all winners.
Congratulations to Jon and Ryan on a very respectable finish amongst the top catfisherman in the country. Add one big kicker fish into your weights and you guys were looking at the title.
And, cooincidentally, you helped launch MONSTER CATS in grand fashion.
Nice work my friends.
Jerry Whitehead is as nice of a guy as you are gonna find.
