Has anyone been on the Congaree at the end of Rosewood lately...has the water come back up???

The last time I was there (about 2 mts. ago) the water was really low. I put out a trot line and had to walk the boat down and up river under the I-77 bridge...there was a green and white pontoon high and dry right before the bridge.

Its a shame the water level is so low...that is a beautiful river...I use to run it a good bit...but have been kind of reluctant to go lately...

I don't understand the low water. I grew up fishing the Congaree in the '50's and '60's and fished it a lot in the early '70's. There was never anything comparable to the shallow water now. I'm sure we had droughts back then but I never had a problem running the river (and catching fish).
