Jeffro, Texas' boat title laws are the pits. This used to be one of the easiest states to get a boat and motor title, but definately not anymore. If you dont have a title for your new boat, you are in for a long(and can be quite expensive) haul.

I would think if your hull identification numbers matched those of a reported stolen boat, it would be confiscated. I'm sure they would not confiscate it because they didn't like your looks. LOL

I have a fisherman not far from me that called the possum cop out to make a pencil etch of the serial member of the boat. He was told to do so by Texas Parks and Wildlife. He had a bill of sale from an auction with serial number. The over zealous warden thought she might make a case and confiscated the jon boat. The fellow was really ticked off. He finally got his boat registered, but it took three months and he did not even get an apology from that warden. Catfishjon

Jeffro your rent may be free in the future.Texas Dept of Corrections. What size striped suit do you wear? This is all your fault. You spent to much time shining it up and made it more noticeable. Should have camouflaged it.

Bring that sucker to NC. I'll title it in my name then "sell" it to you.
With title in hand, go back to Texas.
