Concrete For Sinkers?

    John: I know some guys who use cups filled with quickcrete for anchors on jug lines, don't know why it wouldn't work on rod and reel. Might be a little more prone to hangup tho... argel 41

    I would imagine it would be much more prone to getting washed downstream in the current.

    You might find that you will have trouble with unions if you use concrete.Seems the Mafia has exclusive rights to concrete as a "sinker" just ask Jimmy Hoffa:smile2::wink::big_smile:Besides it doesnt have the same density as lead ,tungsten etc so it would have to be larger for the same effect.:big_smile:
