Greg, guides are ATC, Hardchrome frames/Holo titanium rings hvy duty boat guides. Had to order them straight from Atc,nobody carries them anymore? Dont figure..Its the cost of them I think, their not selling to many sets at over 120. a pop.

Kenny, Those are 2 extremely well built rods just by looking at the hardware. I'm all but slobbering over the pictures, specially with those cork handles. The guy that gets those will be... or.... should be smiling with pride over those babies. Well done!!

if I ever get over being burned by a custom rod builder just recently, I might be looking for a couple.

Thanks,,,Mike. I'm sure The big Guy Paul,a be smiling pretty good. he's getting the pair of rods. The cork turned out nice , foregrip slightly smaller than the rear handle. nice set-up.. You can just shake it and say whoa!!:eek:oooh:You can feel the power in them:wink:

The same thing happened to me;That is what made me start building rods. I got burned on the very first rod I wanted built, and I sent all the components 240.00 except the blank, came back with not one guide centered on under-wraps,bumpy finish full of air bubbles except on butt section..Looked as if 2 people had a hand in it.. And it was built on the wrong type of blank.:sad2::sad2::sad2:

tnvol , is got one coming soon:cool2:

    Kenny,
    Looks can be deceiving.
I'm not sure that they will fish as good as they look. It's probably best if I test them for five or six years; you know, just to help you out:roll_eyes:
