Did you know the penny is the most counterfeited coin in our coinage?
    I wonder why that is.

I picked the right one. Didn't cheat.
We seldom see pennies or any coins for we pay for everything with credit cards.

That's suprising John...wasn't the wheat penny popular during your younger days?? Though you might get it confused with the modern penny. (I'm sorry...couldn't resist...my bad...Lol) :tounge_out:

Dang John...I try to make a wisecrack about your age...and you one up me...Lol.

The Indian Penny was even older!!

I wish I still had the coffee can full of them I used to have when I was a kid...just like that can full of real silver dollars great grandma gave me that I cashed in and got about $175 for (Face value) when I was a kid.

Cool thread Walter. I didn't cheat, and being the numismatologist that I am......well, I picked the wrong one :smile2:. I wasn't too far off, and I'd tell ya which - but I'd hate to ruin it for everyone else .

Wish I still had some of the silver coins that were passed down to me. But alas, I sold them during the silver craze in the 80s :sad2:. We live and we learn, aka hindsight's 20/20. Sorry Walter, I'm rambling...... I better go to a different thread .

    Well I got it right.

Funny though, if it would have been $100.00 bills I would have missed it.

I don't see near as many of those.:sad2:

In fact, can't quite recollect at the moment what one looks like. Oh wait, let me check my wallet. Oh yeah, none in there as usual.:smile2::smile2::smile2:
