I got off work Wed. morning 1/31 around 8:00 am and decided to go fishing, since I just happened to have poles in back of truck. Within 20 minutes of being water side I had two fish on at same time. Fishing was great. Caught 5 channel, 1 hybrid, and 1 bass. Several more hybrid where brought up but not 20 inches so turned back. Went out again today and caught 4 channel and 2 hybrid again several other smaller hybrid where brought up. Driving up today radio said it was 9 degrees out. Glad I found a spot out of the wind. Everything was caught on shad 3-7 inch range. Here are a couple of pics.

Nice Fish! Makes me want to go - but - I think that I will wait a little bit until it's at least 10 degrees. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Don't even need a cooler this time of year do you. Great pics and thanks for sharing, I brave the cold often and love it.
