COLD WEATHER CATFISH

    HOW COLD DOES THE WATER HAVE TO BE BEFORE CATFISH STOP BITTING? I'VE CAUGHT THEM WHEN ICE WAS FORMING ON THE LINE, BUT WAS UNSURE OF THE WATER TEMP.

    i have caught them year round,1 of my favorite times is winter, i catch my bigger ones this time of year

    Around where I fish it seems the bite starts to drop off at around 36 degrees. with 39 to 41 being good for winter fishing
