Do catfish bite better before or after a weather front. Does it matter if it is a warm or cold front?

I think the barometer determines fish activity more than whether it's a warm or cold front. Fish will often bite like crazy during a falling barometer - right up until a front passes. They tend to shut off when the pressure is rising.

Jeff, my Grandpa always said pretty much the same thing. The cats bite well during a steady or falling barometer, and he was the best cat fisherman of all time.
