went yesterday on the saline and the smokey hill rivers. we were equiped with worms, fresh cut shad and coveralls as the wind was to be blowing 20 mph and our high around 50 degress. the worms produced one drum and one carp and one cat about 8 inches long. the shad got lots of bigger bites but that was it nothing seemed commited. the rivers came up about 2 feet and were down half that yesterday. none the less it was cold and windy and not very successfull. better than working tho.:big_smile:

I hear that. Yesterday was WINDY! Definately a day to be out on the river versus a lake. This week should stir things up and next weekend should be alot better.
