How Big are the Catfish There.
Going in the Morning
VERY VERY SMALL, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME  :smile2: :smile2: j/k bud. There are some nice cat in Coffeen, your gonna have to deal with fighting off the bass and I do think there is another tourney there tomorrow, if so ya better get there real early or you'll be parking on the road! Some descent eat'n channels were caught last Tuesday, we were along the spillway area using shad, cut gills, also got a few at the intake cove, if you head in to the intake cove just east (right) of the flow signal marker where the little cut out and point sticks out, we were catching them off of the shelf there 12-17 fow, they just were not in the main little creek line there where the water shows 20 plus.... also back side of the hump from the discharge ditch, we picked up a few drifting the saddle area between the bank and the deep side of hump...... Hope this helps ya a little, if you stop in at the bait shop (Indian Grove) ask Scott what the latest is on them.
By the way Welcome to the BOC, Luke. You fish Coffeen much?
Welcome to the BOC, Luke.
Coffeen lake is a great place to fish. Randy summed it up real well and there aren't too many people out there that know that lake much better than he does.
There are several of us out here that fish that lake pretty regularly, maybe we'll see ya out there. Welcome to the BOC!
