Martha and I went to the lake today. Caught 3 eaters by the hot water outlet on shad. Kept one (23", 4 1/2 lbs.).
Over 25 boats on the lake.
Heard a lot of shot gun'n up in the feeder creek.

Henry and I went to the feeder creek today (Sat. Nov 28) and caught a eater and a 30" 12 lb. flathead. CPR the 12 lb.. Caught them on 2" shad in about 3 to 5' of water.

Henry caught a turtle and the eater caught John. We were loading the boat after dark and the eater was laying on its side. John step down on a 1 3/4" spike and it went through His tennis shoe and all 1 3/4" into his foot.

Hey Ron, you reckon he'd do it again at the next gathering since we all missed it this time. That way we could all observe his reaction, and pain, offer him our sympathy, and take some GREAT pictures:roll_eyes::smile2:. I hope he rubbed the mucous covering the Catfish, this will ease the pain and stop the bleeding:smile2::smile2::smile2:

The first picture is of a 1' catfisherman. The second picture is of a young hunter and his weapon of choice to bring down catfisherman. The third is of the weapon and catfisherman.
