I have been lookin for a real good flathead bank fishin spot for a while. I want to know if coon creek is a good place to bank fish for flathead. I have heard many storys of the GIANT flattys that people have pulled out of that cove. I was thinking about the southwest point at the mouth of the cove. Then work north towards the creek. Has anyone fished this before? Thanks a lot.

Derek you should find them flat's in the creeks and the back end of cove's off the main lake this time of year.

Coon creek does have some good spawning areas for flatheads like all the other creeks and rivers feeding into the lake.

Also welcome to the BOC there will be others on here that will give you all the info you need to catch that big flattie..

Good luck and keep us posted on your catches..
