clickers or no clickers

    last year i got some abues with clikers is this just as good as ussing tight line with circals, ive been letting them run on strght 8/0 gamas, wich is the better methed

    i use clickers when i am fishing multiple rods. around heavy cover i will use just one rod and hold it, no clicker. nothing more frustrating then feeling a big fish that has wrapped around something and you can't get him because you let him run.

    i don't see why you couldn't use free spool/clicker with circle hooks. just bow to them and engage the reel n hold on.

    Depends how they are biting.

    If they are agressive and ravaging everything in site, i like to deadstick or as I call "WINCH".

    But when they sluggish, I use clickers so it gives them time to swallow the bait.

    I use both but I really like the clicker, I don't have to stair at my line all night and I only have to listen.
