DO CATS LIKE FEEDING IN RUNNING MUDDY WATER
I would say yes. Some of my best river fishin' on the Oostanaula has been after a rain when the river is risin' and muddy. Catfish are more of a scent hunter than a sight hunter, so I don't think the muddy water bothers them, it probably helps them.
I would also say yes. Some of my best days fishing up the Chattahoochee have been during rising muddy water, but I have noticed that when clouds of silt start boiling up the bite seems to get slow. I've had the best luck using fresh cut shad in muddy water. You need to change bait often to keep the fresh blood scent going and some garlic spray on your bait also helps.
