    Hello,
I just wanted to clear something up that has been on my mind. I jump around this site giving my opinions and advice a lot. It occurred to me that lots of you folks probably see the puny little channel catfish in my avatar and say "who's this guy tryin to fool!" I sure wished I live somewhere that had big ole' catfish but I usually have to target striper, sturgeon and salmon if I want a big fish. Anyway, I just want you all to know that I'm not full of crap, and while I still have a lot to learn, I do fish all the time. Thanks for all your info and hopefully I'll have a big blue or flatty to show off one day.
    Thanks,
    Linz:wink:

Oh and one more thing......quit laughing at my little catfish!!:smile2:

If channels is what ya got to catch than so be it. Its all I have up here and thats the way it is. Did ya have fun catchin it? You got it and its the best ya have done so far,so be it. You will find that the channel is looked at as the "RED HEADED STEP CHILD" of cattin. I think its a great pic and to those that don't.......... I just can't say!

Thats ok. I wished I could land a salmon every now and then but since I moved from Oregon I cant seem to find one in the waters of Oklahoma.:smile2:

    It's okay... I can't catch big ones. I think it is because I don't fish a river ;)

Hello everybody, I can vouch for Linz, he is a hardcore fisherman. I had the privlage of meeting Fishnutz on a gathering we had here on the Delta last year. This man knows his stuff. I believe we were (Linz and I) the only one that caught strippers on that trip. He gave me some pointers an before I knew it I had my first stripbass.

its not weather you have a large catfish in your hands, we all want to get that big monster, What does count is that you are part of the boc and support your fellow boc members by your posts. Keep up posting and giving your advise.

Dont' worry. I dont even have a fish in my pic. My biggest cat was 9.5 but I dont have a pic of me holding it. I have a pic of it though. I Used to have pics of me with 100# plus tuna but they got lost over the years. Best I got is a pic of me with a bunch of yellow tail in the 30-40's. Guess I'll have to change my avatar.

    They just don't know. :confused2:

Linz is one of the most dedicated fishermen that I ever fished with.

my 4 yr old grandson caught his first and he'd fight anyone if they told him it was small. LOL.
your's looks great. bigger than some i've seen. least you are out there trying and sounds like you're like me, not in best area for the larger fish.
