cleaning catfish!?

    i was wondering if this is how most of you clean your catfish,,, some of my buds at work said i couldnt clean one in under a minute, and get all the meat off without cutting the ribs, so i made this video.. enjoy

    Jamie, that's pretty much the same way I do mine. It doesn't take long at all. On smaller fish, I sometimes cut through the ribs, then fillet them out, too, but on the larger ones I do the same as you do. Great video. Reps to ya!

    Gotta Love those electric knives. Pretty much how I clean mine But I take a little longer and still have all my fingers to date. Great Video thanks for sharing. Reps to you Brother.

    I still do mine the old fashion way knives, pliers etc. It takes alot longer, but just the others I still have 5 on each hand.:wink:

    my wife does all the fish cleaning and she uses an electric knife but she don't mess with the shoulder meat cause it's usually yellow and has a strong taste

    Hey, thanks for the vidio. Never thought about how easy it is with an electric knife. Just learnig to fillet instead of ripping them with an old sharp knife and pliers, lol. But by far, have to admit it, it is worth it when comes to filleting, no bones at supper sime. Thanks again.

    I clean my fish the same way! A lot easier than ripping skin off. My fillet knife goes with me most of the time and can be hooked to a battery, 12 volt accessary plug or to a electrical outlet.
