started out vacuuming. lots of leaves. had to clear out the shop vac hose a few times when it got clogged with leaves but it worked better than I thought it would.
next got the pressure washer going. forgot to mention took a bunch of stuff out so I could clean

A clean boat is a must for me. They are safer and way more fun to fish out of.

We are having many boat inspections out here. If your boat is not kinda clean, plugs pulled, you have a penalty.

They would not want snif my live well. Forgot about some once frozen bait had in there. After a day, ohboy. Have power washed it several times but still has a bit of smell.

They write you a ticket if your boat is not clean...... or do you mean cluttered with stuff laying around that could be considered a safety issue such as a trip and fall overboard hazard?

As far as I know, no mud like on anchor, weeds on trailer, no water in bilge or live well. Do not know of mud lines on hull. They do want you to wipe down hull in prep area.

Invasive weeds and zebra mussels etc. They trying to stop from spreading.

been busy I actually got everything put back over a week ago....hook up the fuel line, pumped the primer bulb to fill the carbs and nervously waited for leaks
thought about taking it out this evening but new moon and stuff put the kibosh on that.
    probably tomorrow.

we are in one heck of a drought here in Texas

Yeah I've been watching the weather there as texas is probably my favorite state, probably our next duty station and most likely where we will retire. I love texas just not the summers and those consistent 100 degree days lol other than that whats not to like about texas.

Hope everything goes well on the boat testing/fishing.

If you do decide Texas, gun owners are welcome.
If you move to the Fort Worth area, any direction you go is toward a decent fishing lake... or river.

Unfortunately it would be ft hood. So I'd be primarily on Stillhouse and belton again with trips to Buchanan as well. However, im retired so I can travel to fish with buddies anytime. We find out next summer for sure
