I like 8/0 team catfish double action and 8/0 gamakatsu. Good on flats and blues

I'm due for some restocking of the tackle box, but at the moment I'm using 2/0 Octopus Circle, 3/0 and 4/0 Circle, and 5/0 Octopus hooks. Even some #1 and #2 baitholders for smaller cats. It just depends where I'm fishing, even 3/0's are big for some of the farm ponds and small lakes I fish. I rarely feel a need for much over 5/0 or 6/0, even on the rivers...but I know a lot of guys really like 8/0's, especially up on the Ohio.

I have a variety of sizes of circle hooks and bait size determines the hook size I use.

I am very fond of the 8/0 Gammy with a gill though.
