What type of Circle hooks would you recommend and Size if you could give me Brands and Model #'s that would help. Mainly I fish in the Rio Grande for Flats and Channels.

I use 8/0 gamakatsu octopus circles for flatheads, these will catch channels also..However if I am just targeting channel cat I will down size to a 5/0 octopus circle.

Flat can you order these from the Connection? I have heard Gamakatsu makes good hooks. What weight line do you use.

Yes I order all my hooks from catfish connection, a 25 hook box of the 8/0 circles run around 9 bucks, or appx 3 bucks for a pack of 6..I use 25-30-lb test berkly biggame line..Catfish connection also has great prices on bulk sinkers.

I use two different circles currently one is the Gamakatsu Oct-Circle 8/0 the other is VMC Sure Set Circle 10/0.

I was using a Offshore Angler Circles but they weren't big enough.
