was just wondering if anyone had ever tried circle hooks with minnows for crappie. I lost three big ones this morning because I didn't get a good hook set. ended up with six between 12 and 15.

Six between 12-15....not a bad mess of fish. To answer your question, the thought of trying a circle hook has never crossed my mind. With winter coming around and being I will be doing a lot of crappie fishing, I will try it and keep ya posted.
