Yeah Im from Iowa but lived in Missouri for years!! Dont know why I ever moved. Anyway I need some advice on circle hooks on bank poles. Anyone try it? How about how to hook 3-4 inch gills? Or does someother bait work better fishing in a old quarry. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!!

I made the change over to circle hooks on my limblines about 3 years ago. I really like using Daiichi Circle Chunk Light in 7/0, it is a very big hook. Next favorite is Gama's 8/0 circle. I din't use bank poles but limblines are about the same.

As far as bait size goes the bigger the better. JUST MAKE SURE the hook point is clear of the bait!! You don't want the bait it stick back into it's self.
