Chumming question

    I just started a batch of chum today. i filled a 5 gallon bucked a little less then half full with corn coverd with about 3 inches of water and added a can of milwalkees best light to it and mixed it in. i plan on chuming a small river, but how long should i wait after chumming befor fishing? an hour? 2? thanks

    Make sure you check with your local laws on chumming. some states make you wait up to 2 weeks if they even allow it.

    I don't know about state regs or anything, but I would think a couple days in the hot sun. 1 or 2 hours I don't think you would get much stink going!

    I Start Fishing Right Away, What The Heck, It Never Hurts To Have Your Bait In The Water, Right ??

    Now You May Have The Advantage I Don't, Which Is If You Happen To live Nearby Where You Fish. If That Happens To Be The Case, THen Go The Night Before And Take A 5 Gallon Bucket With Holes Drilled In It & tie The Handle Off With A Rope.With Chum In It Of Course !!
