Worked like a dog the past two weeks and ran out of hours on the contract midweek last week... so I went fishing.

Wind just nearly about beat us half to death over the weekend. Biggest cat was a 28lb blue on a live bream on a limb line. Tried to get Bonnie to pull it in but she wouldn't... maybe next time. Other than that one, we caught quite a few channels and blues in the 1-5lb range and tore the crappie up on nightcrawlers while fishing for bream. Hehe, kept thinking Man we need to catch some bait for later but this sure is fun. Most cat bites came on bream - both live and cut pretty equal on the bites and a few on livers, all in 1'-10' of water. Water temp was mid 70s.

As always, met a lot of nice folks from all over TX (and a few from out of state) down there.

Here's the pics of the 28. Enjoy: http://www.catfish1.com/forums/album.php?albumid=1195

Oh, target was flatheads :eek:oooh: I guess it's easy to sidetrack me when something else bites hehe.
