Does anyone here watch Formula 1? I know it isn't NASCAR, but this seemed like the best forum for it. Personally I can't stand NASCAR but love F1. So, did anyone else see that amazing pass with water on the ground when Schumacher came half-way off the track and back on to win it all and tie Alonso for total points for the year?

I used to watch that series few years back, but never really got into it big time.

I live 1 hour away from Indy and have never gone and won't. I beleive that the cars are more important than the driver in that type of racing. It also seems if you get the lead at the start you will win.

I wouldn't say that. It takes an incredibly talented Driver to be able to handle a car like that, and I've never seen a time when a person was able to keep the lead through an entire race except maybe a couple times during Shumie's haydays.
