I'm sad to say I cannot attend this event as Ma Blue has different plans for me. I'll gladly make a donation to the cause though. I can mail a check if someone can pm me the address to forward it to. Thanks.

I cant find their adress. I am guessing since the phone isnt working they have no internet so we cannot email. I will try to call his cell later and if I cannot get that I know the number where he works. Or if you want you can mail it to me and I will hand deliver it on Saturday

Ok, just confirmed that the CMN tourny is on for Saturday at CB. The flyer Scott posted is correct. There will be a brief meeting before takeoff so that we are all on the same page.

Mr Okie, I do not meen to offend but:
    MDC code
    3CSR-10-6
    Art. 4
    Par.c
    States:
On the mississippi River, the daily and possesson limit is twenty (20) Channel catfish and Blue catfish in the aggregate and ten (10) Flathead catfish.
I know it really doesn't apply to the tournament, but it does apply to the Mississippi

I copied this from an old post from 2008 and just changed the date and location but I would assume that the limit has something to do with the fact that we are launching and returning on the Missouri River or it could be that they set this just as the tourney limit....:eek:oooh: :eek:oooh:

Also noteworhy. It says 3 pole pe person. That is a six pole limit no matter where you fish. On the Mississippi you can only have 2 unlabeled poles per person. But if you label them you can have 3 poles each up to 6 poles in the water at a time.

We went to the 5 fish limit at Weldon Spring tournys to cut down on the number of fish lost to the heat and stress. We used the WS rules for this tourny.
Scott, I dont believe a pair of shorts can help you catch fish. But whatever pops your cork.:smile2::smile2:

You are right and the only reason I posted is because some may enter the Mississippi. I've asked agents about this code before. I fish on the Mississippi here on Pool #25 , when I set foot on the ramp am I bound by the rest of the code. No, is their answer. If you are on or about the Mississippi river the state wide code does not apply. So don't get caught to far up the Missouri river and say, Oh, I caught these fish in the Mississippi River.
